About Us

Opening in August 2025, Kreymer Elementary is the newest elementary school in Wylie ISD, serving students in grades K-4 on the east side of the district. The school is named in honor of the Kreymer family, who have a long and storied history within the district and the Wylie community.

The decision to name the school after the Kreymer family stems from an agreement made in the 1980s when Wylie ISD purchased the land from the family with the possibility of building a future school. Today, that vision is becoming a reality as Kreymer Elementary prepares to open its doors, continuing the district’s commitment to academic excellence, strong community values, and student growth.

As the newest addition to Wylie ISD, Kreymer Elementary looks forward to building a positive and inclusive learning environment, honoring the legacy of the Kreymer family, and creating a lasting impact on generations of students to come.
